The House Historian

Sara Fox is The House Historian, after finishing her degree she spent a number of years running a small horticulture business. After retraining  she used her business qualifications working for European funded business support projects as a project officer and then project manager at the Welsh College of Horticulture and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

Sara researched and wrote an oral history of Cilycwm School in 2006 and has recently written and edited a book on the history of the farms and field names of the Upper Towy Valley, which was the result of a community project. Her academic research has focused on developing the shoulder seasons at a major tourist attraction in the Carmarthenshire and more recently her MA dissertation on the 18th and early 19th century landscape at Middleton Hall, now the Natonal Botanic Garden of Wales.
